Papua
In 1935 Papua was an Australian Dependency, with a population of 277,000. Four stamps from the 1932 issue were overprinted with the words " His Majesty's Jubilee 1910 1935" in sheets of 5 Rows and 8 Columns. The apostrophe flaw occurs in the 1d, 3d and 5d stamps (The 2d stamp received its imprint from a separate setting) and is found in the word "Majesty's." It occurs in the centre of the bottom row (5/4) just above the imprint. The 1d variety is the scarcest with only 960 being printed.
