Inter Island mail from Totoya to Vanu Levu (Fiji Islands)
The Fiji islands lie on the 180 Meridian in the Southern Hemisphere (see map) and is made up of 300 islands. Approximately 100 of these are inhabited. In 1935 it had an estimated population of 183,00 people. Almost 80% of the population live on the two major islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

This local letter was sent from the island of Totoya (straight line cancellation on stamp) to the Rabi Estate in the Vanu Levu group of islands.
