Ceylon

The use of perfins on stamps appeared to have been introduced into Ceylon in the mid-1870's. Early usage involved overprints as there were problems with the machines used.  Nineteen companies in Ceylon used perfins on the 1935 Silver Jubilee issues. The table lists the companies and the distribution of the perfins.
