Hong Kong Perfin "YSB"
The YSB stands for Yokohama Specie Bank, Hong Kong. Apparently the YSB perfin was used on Hong Kong adhesives during the period 1930-1940. It is not a very common perfin. The letter height is 6mm. and it has a total of 33 holes. (Tilles Classification #Y-1)
The Yokohama Specie Bank was founded in 1881 and developed as a special bank to assist the growth of the Japanese export trade. It opened its Hong Kong branch in 1896. Today it is known as the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and has the largest bank company assets in the world.
