The "8" substituted for "B" in Jubileum. This variety appears on a number of stamps in different positions and is described as always in the Afrikaans version. The pictures below show the variation on the left and a normal "B", for comparison, on the right.

The "8" in both languages

Although the "8" has been well described in the Afrikaans word Jubileum, it also appears in the English version of the word Jubilee. The below pictures show two sets of stamps, horizontal and vertical, where the "8" appears in adjacent stamps in the different languages.
