These two varieties initially appear to be a progression of the same flaw. However the two plates used for printing the Mauritius stamp were 4 and 4/, whereas plates 2A and 2B were used for the 65c Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika stamp

David Gillis provided me with this variety. It occurs in position R/C 2/6 but the vignette plate is unknown. David has this variety on three different Fiji stamps - 1½d, 3d and 1/- stamps.
He has named it the "1st Quarter Moon"
